Families in Transition
A Family Life Skills program
Support for families as they overcome obstacles, develop strength, and find stability
Families in Transition follows a strength-based, group work approach which assumes that every parent brings some positive knowledge or skills to the table. Over the past decade, the Families in Transition program has served thousands of parents by successfully helping both mothers and fathers retain or regain custody of their children, while enhancing their ability to positively impact their children’s future.
The sessions integrate activities for participants to develop critical personal skills including an emotional level check-in, stress reduction exercises, and other grounding activities to enable participants to better focus on session topics.
