For Parents

Parenting Classes

Parents, you have tough jobs. You want to raise strong, healthy, and successful children with good values and a clear sense of themselves. No easy tasks!

That’s why the Children’s Consortium offers timely and dynamic classes about issues of concern for today’s families: behavior and temperament, discipline and limit-setting, sleep issues, school and homework, sibling rivalry, separation and divorce, sex and drugs, and so much more. Our workshops for parents of newborns, teens, and every age in between are led by experienced parent educators. They offer you evidence-based information that you can immediately take home and effectively apply.

Family Life Skills

Family Life Skills parenting classes are ideal for parents and caregivers who need to fulfill a requirement for court or are interested in strengthening their parenting skills. This program assists parents in reducing conflict, building better communication, developing closer relationships between parents and children, reducing stress and allowing for a better adjustment through difficult transition periods.
