Parenting Consultation

For parents with questions or concerns about their children’s development, interactions, or behavior, we offer pragmatic and focused one-on-one coaching and consultation. Consultations may include short-term counseling and guidance for parents on any topic or concern, such as the following:

• Sleep Issues 
• Limit-setting and discipline 
• Separation difficulties 
• Toilet training 
• Choosing preschools and elementary schools 
• Sibling issues 
• Parenting as a couple 
• Choosing childcare

Staff will spend time with you to understand your situation and recommend the best options. Parents may sign up for a single session or a package of consultation sessions that include observations of their children in natural settings: preschool, playgroup, or home.

Consultations have proven to be a highly effective first-step approach for parents seeking solutions to challenging situations with their children.

Cost for 1 one-hour session: $100

Cost for a series of 3 one-hour sessions, including one session in child’s natural environment: $250

Cost for weekend consultation: $25 extra for single consult; $50 for package of three
